Both russian and international bureaus and companies can participate. All applying teams must include architects, landscape architects and urban planners. It is recommended that specialists in the fields of transportation, sustainable spatial development and environmental issues participate. Russian specialists are welcome as part of consortiums.

Companies can determine for themselves the composition of the Applicant team. An Individual Participant can be a company, the staff of which has all the specialists necessary for participation: architects, landscape architects, urban planners. The Consortium is formed by two or more companies in order to create a full-fledged composition of specialists in the Team to participate in the Competition.

What are the primary criteria that the Jury will use in choosing competition participants? Where will their attention be focused? In choosing participants for the Competition, the most important criterion is their experience in designing and realising competition projects, judged by 5 relevant projects. Relevant projects include spatial master plans; architectural projects, recreational and public spaces and improvement projects. If applying as a Consortium, projects from any of the Consortium’s participants can be included. Format: PDF, no more than 5 pages А3. Team: observation of the required conditions for participation of specialists in city planning, architecture and landscape design. Project vision: abiding by the principles of the project described in “Invitation to Participate.”

What kind of projects should be focused on in preparing a portfolio? Master plans of urban territories, residential construction, development of public spaces and improvement projects.

What can be done if a team is lacking the necessary specialists to participate in the Competition? A company can create a Consortium with other companies that cover a single company’s lack of specialists. The Consortium teams sign an agreement to participate as a creative collective and are considered as a single Applicant.
